Buller River rafting, South Island, Westport compared to Rogue River, Oregon

Although located in completely different hemispheres, the Rogue River in Southern Oregon and the Buller River on the West Coast of the South Island of New Zealand are similar. For example, both rivers are known to have HUGE flows, they both flow through stunning gorges, and they are both wildly fun to raft. One big difference is that while the Rogue River is rafted by many rafting companies,  Wild River Rafting is the only company that regularly rafts this classic section. Trips going twice daily. Book in advance!
