Winter rafting on the South Island, New Zealand

Snow and frost in the Buller Gorge. Wow! The Buller River was chilly!! But that didn’t stop some brave souls from enjoying the beauty of the Buller Gorge. With double layers of thermals and thick wetsuits, everyone seemed to have a great time. Weather patterns often change on the coast, and it’s warmed up again. Rugby enthusiast, be sure to book your river adventure early to get the best times.
